Rooms were good with stunning river views and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The dining experience could use improvement as the food quality wasn’t up to par, and service was a bit slow during busy times. A pleasant experience despite a few hiccups.

Exceptionally clean and airy unit with a view. Excellent choices for the breakfast. Location just next door to castle, restaurants, bars, shops, restaurants and pubs and the banks.
Beds were rock hard.

This wasn't what I expected, Good or Bad?
Fantastic views of the River Shannon from our room. The staff were attentive and friendly.
Food quality in the restaurant was inconsistent. Spa and gym facilities were lacking compared to expectations.

I liked the fact that we were looked after on our arrival and that the staff were all professional and friendly. The view from our 14th floor window was brilliant - even the scrap being loaded on the Dock gave us something to watch! We ate twice in the evenings - in Kudos, where we had an adequate bar meal and in the main Restaurant where we had a 3 course meal with wine offer. The Hotel is ideally located for touring and we would certainly stay again.

The view from the 14th floor was brilliant overlooking the river at night. The use of the pool/jacuzzi/steam room/sauna was a real plus especially when it was available before checking out also. Didn't use the gym but it looked good also.
There was no bottled water available in the room.

The panoramic views from the 12th floor are fine.

Excellent value for money (as we had a special offer). We stayed just one night, but the room was nice with a view over the city (12th floor), and staff were helpful. There is a public car park right next door, so it's very convenient, though it costs €8.50 for 24 hours.
No mini-bar - just an empty fridge - no bin liners in bins and minimal toiletries. Room didn't smell very fresh.
